Hands Free Door Opener

Our hands-free Foot Handle has been developed in response to the Covid-19 crisis.

This device helps to reduce the possible transmission of the virus into your home, business, or workplace by eliminating the use of door handles. Affordable and made here in Ireland, our stainless steel Foot Handle allows for the easy opening of doors using your foot rather than your hand.

It can be used in a range of settings, including retail premises, bars and restaurants, hospitals and nursing homes, factories and schools. The device is incredibly easy to install, using an electric screwdriver. It is simple to use and is suitable for all door sizes.

All the user has to do is place their foot on the Foot Handle and pull backwards. This will cause the door to open as far as needed and the user’s elbow can then be used to fully open the door if required although in most situations the manoeuvre can be accomplished entirely by the foot.

Initially designed for lock-free doors, our product is also easily adaptable for doors with a lock. Included with the foot puller is a small section of rubber. This rubber can be cut to length locally so that it fits the door lock to stop it engaging. Also included is a vinyl sticker which indicates to users that a Foot Handle has been fitted.
